Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Gulf Finance Careers application currently processes personal data. This page will be updated as the product changes.

• Account data: email address, and name if provided by your sign-in method (email or Google).
• Career profile: fields you choose to save — name, job title, years of experience, specialization, industry, current country, target countries and cities, target salary, languages, education, certifications, skills and a professional summary.
• CV text: text extracted from a CV you upload, used only while processing the request (see below).
• Job search activity: saved jobs and the applications you add to your tracker, including stages, dates and notes.
• CV notice confirmations: your user ID, the notice version and the time you confirmed it.
• Technical data: standard request and error logs kept by our hosting and backend providers.

• Your CV PDF is opened and its text extracted in your browser. The PDF file itself is not uploaded or stored by the application.
• The extracted text (up to 20,000 characters) is sent to the application's server and, from there, through our AI processing gateway to the configured AI model provider to produce the analysis or profile suggestions.
• The extracted CV text is not written to our database. CV Analyzer reports are not saved to your account; you can download a PDF copy yourself.
• On the career profile page, the extracted details and an AI-generated summary fill the form. They are stored only if you click “Save profile”. The summary is instructed to exclude your name and contact details.
• The AI provider's own handling of submitted data is governed by its terms with our AI gateway provider; we do not control it.

To create and secure your account, generate CV analyses and profile suggestions, calculate job match scores and salary estimates, and let you track your applications. We do not use your data for advertising and have no recruiter or employer accounts that can view your profile.

• Our cloud provider — hosting, database and authentication.
• Our AI gateway and the connected AI model provider — processing of CV text for analysis.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Access to profiles, saved jobs, applications and confirmations is restricted at database level so each signed-in user can only access their own records. Service and AI keys are kept on the server. The application is designed not to log CV text, AI prompts or AI responses. No system is completely secure.

• Saved profile data, saved jobs and tracker entries are kept until you delete them or your account. There is currently no automatic deletion after a fixed period.
• You can delete your saved career profile data, or your entire account and all associated data, from the Account page. Public job listings are not personal data and are not affected.
• Technical logs held by our providers follow those providers' retention periods.
